The Professional Teachers' Council NSW (PTC NSW)
The Professional Teachers’ Council NSW (PTC NSW) is an education support organisation for professional teachers’ associations in NSW with over 45 member associations. Established in 1973 as a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation and incorporated in 1983 it represents teachers at all levels of the education system, early childhood to tertiary. PTC NSW represents both government and non-government sectors, in all Key Learning, cross-curricula and leadership areas.
Board of Studies NSW
The Board of Studies NSW was established in 1990 to serve government and non-government schools in the development of school education for Years K-12. It provides educational leadership by developing quality curriculum and awarding secondary school credentials, the Record of School Achievement and the Higher School Certificate.
NSW Institute of Teachers
The Institute was established to support quality teaching in all NSW schools. Its charter is to advance the status and standing of the teaching profession. The Institute works to support the career-long development of teachers and to assure both the profession and the community of the quality of teacher education programs.
Hindu Council of Australia
The Hindu Council of Australia was set up as an umbrella organisation for the purpose of bringing together various Hindu Associations for having a unified voice for all Australian Hindus, living in the multicultural community of Australia, irrespective of their caste or country of origin.
